For the planet: Don't throw in the towel... or wet wipes

tortuga

Every wipe counts

Flushing wet wipes down the toilet impacts our ecosystems, our money and everyone's future.

€200M

spent annually on cleaning blockages caused by wet wipes.

Between 100-500

years it takes a wet wipe to disintegrate.

45 tonnes

of wet wipes generated per year. 90% contain plastic.

Every signature counts and brings us closer to a more sustainable environment for us and for the generations to come.

Throw where it belongs, not down the drain

Flushing wet wipes down the toilet affects the environment, generates high maintenance costs, damages the marine ecosystem and contributes to plastic pollution. We can prevent it by disposing of them responsibly, thus reducing their impact and improving our environment.
